Today, is my four and half year with baby. It had being a long way since we first met and being together. That time we are just teenage but now everything is different. We are both working very hard for our future. I am studing in a place far from home, a place better than NUS. She is into her second year for her job.
A lot of things had change but my feeling for baby will neve change. She is who she is.
Happy 4 and 1/2 years. We had gone though a lot over this one month but I can feel that you had slowly get use to it. Lets work hard together for our future.

2nd sunday

It had being a week i had being in Manchester. Its a nice city and the people here is quite friendly. The weather is really good, never sweat a drop since i am here.

This week is quite relax because there is no lessons other than some fresher things. I will have my first lesson tomorr. Went to bar with my flatmates for the past few nights. English are crazy, they drink every single day after dinner. They can't stop drinking.

Bought a skype phone this week. Its a free phone as i signed a contract of 6 months for ₤15 per month. Now that i had a skypephone, baby can call me by skype anytime she like for free. The level of technology is really high as i am able to check my useage by accessing internet from my phone for free.

Yesterday i was laying in my bed around 10am when the fire alarm went off. I thought it was my alarm clock, a really loud one. I was like wtf, got changed and went downstair. There were people without shoes. But the effort of going down really pay off as they had free dinner in return for us in the common room. And a lot of free beer too, as we are in UK. I drank quite a bit of beer and continue to have some vodka in our kitchen after that. Baby called me around 10pm and i was quite wasted by then. After i chat with baby before she go to work i went to bed. The life in UK is drink everynight and watch soccer every weekends. Went to watch liverpool derby this week. Torres is really good.

Baby: There are times that we are unhappy this week. But something i want you to know, it don't matter where i am, in UK or Singapore everytime we quarrel we will be back again happily in on time. I know its hard for you to wait but good things is worth the wait. Don't give up, we will do it together. Baby, I love you.

4th day in uk

Today is even better than yesterday. I am begining to like manchester city. The thing i love most is the weather. I haven sweat since the first day i arrive. Haha.

This morning around 6am, I recieve a call in my room. Its from baby. She want me to chat with her on skype, so i woke up and chat with her for 15 mins before she nap to prepare for her night shift. Although its just for 15 mins but i find it very sweet and i dun mind at all. After we chat I went to bed again. Around 9 plus i woke up by a wake up call from baby again. I had my breakfast and chat with my mum and baby.

Went out with my friend to chinatown to buy some stuff and went to watch manchester vs chelsea at a pub. The feeling of watching soccer here is totally different from singapore. People really curse and swear and shout like there is no tomorrow when manchester united score. People is more into soccer here. Maybe it is a manchester match and i am in manchester city.

After a few days here, i had this very funny feeling. The way local people look at me is the way we look at ang mo in singapore. We will have this feeling that they are richer than us. Maybe is the amount of fee we are paying each year. Another funny thing is the people sweeping floor, construction workers are all foreign talent in singapore and we nv see ang mo doing this kind of job. but over here all the jobs are being done by ang mo themselves. Have you even seen an ang mo as a cleaner?

Baby: If you woke me up in singapore i will kill u but the feeling here is totally different. The feeling is very sweet and i know someone is the other part of the world is thinking of me. When i watch soccer today i saw a couple watching together but i told myself i know one day you will watch together with me live right? I know u will. Miss u as u are working night shift now.

3rd day in uk

Today is a better day. Woke up early at 8am, chat wit mum and have breakfast. Went for a fresher talk. The talk is about 10 min walk from my hall, saw some interesting things along the way.

2nd day in uk

Today is my 2nd day in Manchester. Yesterday was one of the worst day of life. I was alone in this place so far from home. I dun have any friends and to make things worst, my internet connection wasn't ready. That means i cannot use skype to call home and baby. Nothing to do and tired after 13 hours of flight i went to bed at 5pm. I slept for 13 hours.

Today is a better day. When i woke up and on my computer, i was very happy that my internet connection was ready and the first time i did is to call baby. We chat for 2 hours before i went to the bank to open an account. After opening my bank account, went to walk around. I am staying in the city so i only have to walk 5 mins to their Orchard Road. Lots of thing and people.

Baby: I really miss u. Nv had i miss you so much. Hugs. I felt so happy when i finally have internet connection and saw ur face on skype. Love u.

Finally, the day i have being waiting for 2 years had come. I finally got my IC back on friday. Last 5 days of staying in is a good chance to have a last gathering with my army friends. We spent almost everynight eating supper and chatting till late night.

Being quite busy for the last three days. Had a farewell dinner with my poly friends. It has being a year since i last seem them. Because of the stupid duty i had being doing at airport for the last one year.

Yesterday went to my army friend, Winston's house for bbq. Quite fun as its a all guy gathering. After the bbq, meet my BMT friends for a drink.

After serving for this 2 years, i think its really a total waste of time. Monthly allowance of $580, really not enough in singapore. But i make lots of friends and brothers in army. All the best to them.

Thank god its over! The worst part of my life..

Hai.. Jus come back from camp. Haven gone back for a month. But the worst part is i have to stay in for this last 5 days. Haven stay in for a few months now the sudden change is like killing me.

I am back home now to take somethings to entertain myself for this 5 days inside. I think i will sleep for most of the time. Is it possible for someone to sleep for 5 days first and go without sleep after that? Haha.

Hope i will do something really "meaningful" this last 5 days of serving the national.

johor trip and sunday

Just finish the Liverpool game, a disappointing 0-0 draw.

Went to johor yesterday. I swear i will nv go on weekends again. It took me 2 hours from my home to city square and another 1 hour back home.

Order a puzzle frame 2 weeks ago but was not free these few days so just collected it today.

A few days ago around 2am, there was an accident in the carpark area. I was surprise by the number of ppl that went to take a look. I am wondering were they really concern about the driver or they were there just for the car plate number for 4D.

Camera Day

Went to comex yesterday with baby. Very crowded and lots of things going on sale.
Spent quite a bit of money on cameras there.

Baby bought the camera she eyed for a long time, Sony T-300. Selling for $499 wit lots of free gift, really worth it.

She also bought the camera which i eyed for nearly 2 years as my birthday present. Canon IXUS 860. Got it for $519 along wit lots of free gift too. She is giving me my birthday now because i won't be spending it here this year. *Muack*

Free 8GB card too. haha.

Baby bought a creative speaker to replace her 4 years old, half dead speaker. Also a 1GB Ram to upgrade her computer.

Now that we have 2 very good cameras, we will be taking lots of pictures in the future and while I am in Manchester.

Hi all. First time writing a blog.

The last 7 days I had being waiting for my student visa. Quite worried that I miss out something in my application and could't get it in time as i am leaving in less than 3 weeks time. But no worries now as i just collected it yesterday.

And this price of paper is not cheap. It cost S$277! Half of my monthly allowance from NS.
